Robinson left Western Kentucky over the summer before eventually deciding to skip college basketball altogether, meaning we haven’t seen much of him this season. Workouts will play a large role in determing his draft positioning, but it makes sense for a team like Phoenix to take the risk.
The Suns have some solid frontcourt pieces in Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender, but that can’t deter them from adding depth. Robinson is an impressive athlete with obvious defensive potential, standing at 7-1 with a 7-4 wingspan and plenty of bounce.
Offensively, most of Robinson’s production will come as a finisher around the rim. He has flahsed mid-range potential in the past, but we don’t really know where his jumper stands at this point. Again, the combine and workouts will prove important in that regard.
