Frazier is the perfect late-first round gamble for the Nets. Tulane wasn’t all that successful this season, but Frazier is an explosive athlete at 6-6 and has a 7-3 wingspan at his disposal. Combine that with a 38.5 percent clip from deep, and there’s no reason against him getting first round looks.
There are still imperfections in Frazier’s game, but that’s the expectation at this point in the draft. He should be capable of spacing the floor and slashing from the wing, while his defensive upside is the kind of thing Brooklyn should have no issue pulling the trigger on.
The Nets have centered their rebuild around versatility, athleticism, and high-character players. Frazier checks every box.
