Jackson continues to rise up most draft boards, with his combination of physical tools, shooting touch and defensive prowess wowing scouts. He’s among the leaders in college basketball when it comes to blocked shots (3.2) and is shooting 39.6 percent from deep, a number that mitigates any potential concerns regarding his mechanics.

While he might not have the same upside as Bagley or Bamba, it’s difficult to picture Jackson failing at the next level. He’s a skilled scorer, viable shooter, and smart defender, all while standing at 6-11 with a 7-5 wingspan.

The Hawks, who could use another long-term piece in the frontcourt next to John Collins, would be hard-pressed to avoid somebody who fits their needs as well as Jackson.
