2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0
Robinson left Western Kentucky this summer before inevitably deciding to forgo college altogether and prepare for the draft. At 7-1 with a 7-4 winsgpan, his physical tools and defensive upside should draw extensive looks toward the middle of the first round.
Washington doesn’t have much in terms of frontcourt depth. Neither Marcin Gortat nor Ian Mahinmi provide much long term stability at center, so adding a young, athletic body to mold on a playoff-caliber roster makes sense.
Robinson has flahsed a jumper in the past, but it isn’t a reliable part of his game yet. How he performs in pre-draft workouts will obviously play a big role in determining how high or low he goes in June.
