PG/SG. Creighton. Khyri Thomas. 21. player. 118.

The Jazz get to add one of college basketball’s best perimeter defenders in Thomas. He’s slightly undersized for a two-guard at 6-3, but has the length needed to defend either guard spot.

Utah’s defense has been their calling card all season, and Thomas only adds to that. His aggressiveness at the point of attack and excellent instincts in passing lanes help him force turnovers at a high clip, which naturally leads to opportunities in transition.

Offensively, he’s a strong spot-up shooter who’s capable of handling the ball and making smart passes when needed. He adds a nice, versatile cog to the Jazz second unit.
