Bates-Diop broke out as arguably the best player in the Big 10 this season, leading Ohio State to an unexpected NCAA Tournament berth. He thrived as a mismatch-creator at the four spot, a role he’ll likely take on at the next level.

Standing around 6-8 with long arms and plenty of craft offensively, Bates-Diop is capable of creating his own shot at a high clip around the basket. He’s also a solid shooter, spacing the floor and causing problems aplenty for bigger power forwards.

His defensive potential should play into his stock as well. His rangy frame and solid athleticism should allow him to switch around the court and cause issues in any system.
