Brown’s decision to return for his sophomore season — especially at 21 years of age — is looking more and more like a mistake. After cracking the lottery discussion last year, the Miami comboguard is barely hanging onto first round status in 2018.

The reason for Brown’s tumble is pretty simple. He just didn’t look good, struggling as the lead ball handler and dealing with nagging injuries throughout the season.

Still, at 6-5 with a strong frame and long arms, Brown remains an explosive athlete with obvious two-way potential on the perimeter. If he can get his spot-up jumpers to fall consistently, he should have success at the next level.
