Knox is raw compared to his lottery counterparts, but his upside should have scouts talking. He’s already a strong cutter, using a wide array of moves to finish off shots around the paint.
If he can shoot the deep ball consistently, it’s not hard to imagine Knox developing into a legitimate go-to option. He’ll need to clean up his handles and might be a few years away from taking on that kind of role, but his developmental curve is something teams should be willing to invest in.
He also has some promising tools defensively, which should translate given his work ethic and high character. He shouldn’t drop out of the top 15 come June.
