Gilgeous-Alexander was a bit of a surprise this season, with the four-star freshman emerging as Kentucky’s most relaible player. His steady playmaking and crafty scoring played a big role in lifting the Wildcats to the Sweet 16.

While not an elite athlete, Gilgeous-Alexander can counteract that with shifty ball handling and finesse around the rim. He finishes well in traffic, while his passing chops stood out late in the season on a Kentucky team that lacked capable creators.

His length should bode well defensively, although he needs to add more strength to his frame. Expect him to draw plenty of lottery consideration in the coming months.
