Evans was one of the defensive anchors for a Cincinnati team that ranked toward the top of college basketball on that end of the floor. His length, instincts and versatility should keep him firmly in the late-first round conversation.
Last season was also a solid offensive year for Evans. He moved around the floor quite a bit, scoring at all three levels and averaging 3.1 assists per game from the wing. He has the makings of an immediate impact player off the bench.
With the increasing importance of wings that can play both sides of the ball, expect to hear Evans’ name quite a bit as the draft edges closer. He could potentially be on the Sixers’ radar.
