Holiday will join his brothers in the NBA next season, emerging as a likely first round pick after a stellar year with the Bruins. His high-octane scoring and improved playmaking helped UCLA fill the void left by Lonzo Ball and Bryce Alford.
Averaging 20.3 points per game and shooting 42.9 percent from deep, Holiday would have gotten Player of the Year love if he had a better team around him. His three-level scoring should translate as an immediate spark off the bench in the NBA.
Last year, with Lonzo and Alford heading the backcourt, Holiday thrived in a sixth man role. That might be where he’s best utilized at the next level.
