UCLA. Aaron Holiday. 16. player. 66. . PG

Having already added to their frontcourt with Bagley, the Suns pick up some much-needed point guard depth with their second pick. Holiday has been a steady riser on draft boards all season, stepping into the void left by Lonzo Ball at UCLA and emerging as one of the best lead guards in the country.

Elfrid Payton had some flashes with Phoenix after the trade deadline, but he doesn’t feel like their long-term solution at this point. Holiday is already a quality playmaker who can step in and provide a scoring spark at all three levels.

Despite being just 6-1, Holiday’s length gives him a bit of defensive upside as well. He should be the kind of steady, two-way playmaker that the Suns need next to Devin Booker as their rebuild pushes forward.
