3. player. 125. . C. Texas. Mohamed Bamba

There are varying opinions on where Bamba should go, but he seems to be making strides offensively during pre-draft workouts. His 7-9 wingspan would make him the longest player in the NBA upon being drafted.

My thinking here is pretty straightforward — defensive cornerstones are hard to come by, and that’s something Atlanta will covet. Bamba still needs to gain a few pounds, but his length alone makes him the top rim protector in this class.

Offensive limitations have been the primary source of criticism for Bamba all season. He doesn’t do much outside of at-rim finishing. The root of his value is on the defensive end, though. If he can add a reliable spot-up jumper on the perimeter, there shouldn’t be any worries about him contributing on both ends.
