SF/PF. Missouri. Michael Porter Jr.. 7. player. 24.

Porter gives the Bulls another talented scorer next to Lauri Markkanen and (presumably) Zach LaVine. He’s capable of playing either forward spot, but will probably find the most success as a power forward given his ability to score off the bounce at all three levels.

Before the season, most draftniks had Porter at the top of their draft boards. A back injury is never ideal and he’ll need to test well medically, but it’s hard to picture him dropping much further than this.

MPJ missed essentially the entire season before returning for a couple of games in the SEC and NCAA tournaments. He looked understandably rusty, lacking the explosiveness that he showed in high school. That explosiveness will eventually come back, so placing too much stock in those performances is ill-advised.
