C. Duke. Wendell Carter Jr.. 8. player. 67.

Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere are both quality pieces, but the Kings still lack stability in the frontcourt. Carter would immediately become their best frontcourt piece, if not the best prospect on the team.

Playing next to Bagley didn’t always benefit Carter, but he still showed the skill set that drew Al Horford comparisons coming into the season. He’s already strong enough to defend NBA fives, while his post-up skills — both scoring and passing — make him a valuable weapon.

He’s also capable of putting the ball on the floor and attacking in straight-line drives. His 3-point shot wasn’t leaned on heavily at Duke, but he has shown that kind of range in the past. He should be able to develop into a reliable floor spacer if he isn’t already there.
