Having watched Walker live, he remains one of the more underappreciated prospects in this class. Similar to the aforementioned Smith, he’s a few improvements away from being an extremely valuable two-way wing in a league that covets his archetype.

It took some time for Walker to find his groove at Miami, but he eventually emerged as their best NBA prospect. His length and athleticism allows him to disrupt passing lanes and make plays defensively, while his off-ball cutting is already effective on the offensive end.
He needs to clean up his handles and become a more consistent shooter, but the stroke is there. He has shown flashes of crafty finishing and shot-making, it’s just a matter of improving his ability to create those looks on his own.
There’s a decent crop of wings hanging around the mid-first round on most draft boards. Walker should very much be in the discussion when the Sixers start crafting their list.
