Musa has established himself as the best international prospect outside of Luka Doncic. Defense will be an issue for Musa, especially early in his career, but he makes up that ground with his polished offensive game.
Standing around 6-8, Musa is one of the best individual scorers in this class. He needs to work on making plays for others and improving his frame, but shifty handles and a smooth pull-up allow him to attack defenses at all three levels.
His wingspan is a tad shorter than his listed height, which doesn’t bode well for his defensive upside. The Sixers were exposed for their lack of defensive depth on the perimeter, so that might be one thing that keeps him off their board in June.
Still, based on his offensive prowess alone, Musa is somebody the Sixers should at least look into. He’s a fiery competitor who projects nicely as a scoring punch off the bench. If nothing else, he’d be somebody capable of putting the ball on the floor and creating his own offense.
