The Hornets are in an odd position without an clear path forward as a franchise. It makes sense to add another versatile athlete capable of giving them a scoring punch on the offensive end, which Bridges delivers.

Despite being somewhat undersized, Bridges should thrive at the power forward spot in the NBA. He’s strong enough to body up traditional bigs, while his athleticism makes him a sneaky good weakside rim protector.

He’s also a solid spot-up shooter who can put the ball on the floor and create in spurts. That should allow him to generate plenty of mismatches on the offensive end, all while defending three or four positions.
