The Clippers settle for the other Bridges, adding an elite 3-and-D prospect that can fit into any system. Albeit not much of an off-the-dribble threat, Bridges excels off the ball, gunning around screens and shooting at a high clip from beyond the arc.
On the other side of the ball, Bridges is one of the best defensive prospects in this class. His length allows him to disrupt passing lanes and force turnovers, all while displaying advanced instincts off the ball. He’s also capable of playing lockdown defense in isolation.
Bridges’ relative inability to put the ball on the floor and create is why he slides to 12, although it’s certainly an area where he can improve in the future. In a league that stresses floor spacing and versatility, the Clippers are getting a steal toward the back half of the lottery.
