Luka Doncic should be the undisputed choice here. A recent report from ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, however, makes it appear as though the Kings are leaning elsewhere with their pick. Marvin Bagley is probably the next guy up on most boards.

The defensive concerns with Bagley are valid, but he’s an insane athlete whose floor is among the highest in this class. His motor on the glass should make him the an elite rebounder, while his ability to finish at (or above) the rim is already there.

If Bagley can shoot with consistency and become more polished off the dribble, he has the ability to become a perpetual mismatch at the five spot. His blend of quickness and bounciness is rare, and the talent level has never been a question mark.
