First things first, this proves how Process Twitter was 110% correct about Hinkie being bashed in the media through hollow narratives like; “he’s not transparent”,  and  “he’s not good with people.” The immediate disdain from the Colangelo hiring was spot on.

And now Eric Jr.,

Fire him. Launch him into the sun. Send him to the NBA version of the island Napoleon Bonaparte got exiled too. I want to see Bryan Colangelo recreate the scene from Jerry MaGuire where all he has is a goldfish and his shattered dignity.

Think of this from an organizational standpoint, as far as optics are concerned, there is zero way you can recover from this. The fans don’t like him and think he’s a complete joke. He criticized the face of the franchise anonymously. He decided to use burner accounts to tell a 19-year old to toughen up. He leaked team sensitive information. He slandered Sam Hinkie. He showed us he is not worthy of running this team.

Even if it wasn’t actually him, somebody needs to take the fall for this. I don’t want to hear about a basketball ops intern that tried to initiate a hostile takeover. The chances of Bryan Colangelo not being responsible for this mess seem to be the same as getting mauled by a mountain lion with the winning lottery ticket in your pocket.

His own players won’t trust him. Free agents won’t trust him. There is nothing he can do to salvage his reputation.

Let’s not overcomplicate this. If you drive a Greyhound bus, work at a bank, teach seventh grade, or have any normal job where anonymously jabbing people on social media isn’t tolerated, you would be fired no questions asked.

It’s not a normal collar. Find a new job.
