Roundtable: Thoughts on Bryan Colangelo’s alleged burner accounts

I find this entire situation absolutely hilarious. I mean, if I wore collars like him, I’d probably also need at least five accounts to defend myself too.

On a slightly more serious and unneccessarily deep level, I view this entire situation like the existence of pain. It may not be pleasant, but it lets you know something’s wrong and therefore generally serves a useful purpose. If it didn’t hurt us, we wouldn’t know not to put our hand on a hot stove.

Similarly, this should probably indicate to ownership that something is very wrong with Colangelo, and therefore is useful, even though it certainly will cause the franchise some pain in the short run. Hopefully, this weird little scandal ends up being the impetus for them to move on from Colangelo and his backstabbing burner accounts.

As it so happens, I do know a former general manager who is currently without an NBA job…
