Knox gives the Bucks another versatile forward capable of sliding into Jabari Parker’s role, should the latter leave this offseason. At this point, that feels likely.
With Mike Budenholzer in charge, the Bucks might embrace some more small-ball lineups this season. Putting Giannis Antetokounmpo at the five and allowing Knox to man the four is a tantalizing idea, with Knox’s slashing skills projecting well in space.
Despite an up-and-down season, Knox showed the talent needed to thrive in the NBA. He’s a legitimate spot-up shooter who can attack the rim in long strides and finish with a variety of nifty moves inside the arc.
