Having addressed their frontcourt needs in the lottery, the Hawks can chase point guard depth at 19. Robinson is the next-highest lead guard on the board.
Dennis Schroder is probably on his way out at some point, giving Robinson the opportunity to step into the starting role early on. One of the most dynamic offensive players in college basketball, Robinson’s tight handles and shooting should have no issues translating to the next level.
At 6-5 with a 6-7 wingspan, Robinson also has nice size for a comboguard. His ability to defend either guard spot gives Atlanta some options, depending on how their personnel shakes out next season.
