147. . SG. Cincinnati. Jacob Evans. 29. player

The Nets love versatile defenders and skilled offensive players, and Evans fits the bill. While not an elite athlete, Evans’ instincts make him one of the best defenders outside the lottery.

At 6-5 with a 7-0 wingspan, Evans can defend three positions. He was a major part of Cincinnati’s two-way success, making disciplined rotations and averaging over a steal and block per game last season.

Evans also gives the Nets another shooter who, despite limited on-ball potential, stays in constant motion and makes the right passes when available. He’s one of the smartest players left on the board.
