player. 125. . C. Texas. Mohamed Bamba. 3

Bamba has impressed in workouts, both with his upside and his basketball I.Q. He’s one of the smartest, hardest-working individuals in this class, something teams will surely take note of. His upside might be enough to get him drafted to Atlanta.

At 7-10, Bamba’s wingspan will be the longest in NBA combine history. He’s also mobile on the perimeter, defending switches at a high level. That, paired with his obvious rim protection, is highly valuable in today’s NBA.

The Hawks are still looking to establish their culture and implement Lloyd Pierce’s defense-first approach. Bamba gives them a potential defensive cornerstone with one of the highest two-way ceilings in recent memory if things break his way.
