Robert Covington

Season stats: 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, two assists, 1.7 steals, 0.9 blocks, 41.3% FG, 36.9% 3PT, 85.3 FT

Grade: B-

He might have helped the team more if he decided to take a literal vacation during the playoffs, but Cov lands a B- thanks to his solid regular season play. He made First Team All-Defense and played most of the season with an injured middle finger on his non-shooting hand.

After Rock signed his four-year, $62 million deal, his play indicated some complacency had set in as he started to gamble on defense and take ill-advised shots. Despite his penchant for hoisting up a contested three, he still shot at a 36.9 percent clip from deep, right around the league average.

Even though he made some poor decisions this year, RoCo still showed up on the stat sheet. He finished 2nd in the league in deflections with 3.9 per game, as well as a 6.6 plus-minus.  His numbers dipped in the playoffs, where he hit 31.3 percent of his three-pointers and averaged just 8.1 points, but he, like every other player on the Sixers, made his playoff debut this season.

He receives a decent grade thanks to his regular season play and First Team All-Defense appearance, but the Sixers need more consistent shooting and smart defense from the Tennessee State product. Brett Brown needs his beloved swingman to make a leap in his fifth season as a Philadelphia 76er.
