Evans fills a valuable 3-and-D archetype on the wing, playing to his strengths offensively and defending multiple positions on the other end. Average athleticism limits Evans’ upside, but he should be a productive role player from day one.

Despite a low release point, Evans should be a reliable spot-up shooter on the offensive end. He’s also capable of attacking closeouts and making quality passes on the move. He’s one of the smartest players in this range, always making the right play and keeping the ball in motion.

On the defensive end, Evans in 6-foot-6 with a 6-foot-10 wingspan, allowing him to guard twos and threes with ease. He can spend some time on point guards as well, although his limited quickness hurts him in that regard. Nonetheless, Evans should be an excellent defender at an important position.
