Okobo has been shooting up draft boards after a strong run in France, and for good reason. A dynamic lefty shot-maker, he’s capable of scoring in variety of ways, both with and without the ball. His playmaking has improved drastically as well.

Using shifty dribble moves, Okobo is able to work his way into shots at all three levels. He has a fluid step-back from deep, while his athleticism debunks the typical European sterotypes. He can play above the rim when given the opportunity to do so.

Long arms should help Okobo defend both guard spots at the next level. He isn’t known for his defensive prowess, but has the tools needed to become a quality two-way guard in time. He’s the kind of gamble teams should consider in a point guard-deprived class.
