I’m all-in on DiVincenzo’s skill set, even if it serves him best in a sixth man role. He’s one of the best shooters in the draft and he can create at a high level off the bounce, a rare combination outside the lottery.
There’s a good chance that DiVincenzo can make the transition to point guard full-time if needed, which should help his stock. His pull-up shooting serves him well in the pick-and-roll, while his feel for shifting gears and changing speeds makes him difficult to defend.
On the defensive end, DiVincenzo lacks ideal measurements. With that said, he’s a hard-nosed, high-energy defender who can feasibly spend time on either guard spot. He gets after things in isolation and doesn’t get caught sleeping off the ball, which can’t be said for everyone.
