A microwave scorer who shoots the ball at a high level, Newman projects as an instant bucket-getter off the bench. He has shown flashes of lead guard skills in the past, but his NBA success will be derived from scoring.
Carter was one of the best defenders in college basketball last season. He lacks elite physical tools, but plays a hard-nosed brand of basketball and can defend opposing point guards at a high level. He also shoots the ball well.
Antetokounmpo is a long, versatile athlete who should be able to play both the four and five long term. His he has the coveted ability to switch onto the perimeter, as well as tremendous upside as a slasher.
Spellman will need to work on his conditioning at the next level, as he doesn’t have a clear defensive position at this point. With that said, he’s an excellent spot-up shooter who could bring value as a small-ball four (or five) on the offensive end.
Hall is a strong-bodied 3-and-D wing who can hit spot-up jumpers on one end and defend at a high level on the other. He’s not a great athlete, but plays within himself offensively and makes an impact defensively with his effort.
