With DeAndre Jordan‘s future in question, the Clippers can chase the best center available in Williams. He’d give them another athletic rim-runner who can catch lobs and, ideally, develop chemistry with Collin Sexton in the coming years.

Williams’ defensive upside might be equal to some of the bigs taken earlier in the lottery, boasting elite physical tools and jump-out-of-the-gym athleticism. At 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, he can slide his feet on the perimeter and soar well above the rim for blocks.

His offensive game is somewhat limited, but Williams fills does fit a valuable complimentary role. He flashed upside as a shooter during his freshman season, but there’s no guarantee that he can reliably stretch his game beyond the paint at this point.
