The Grizzlies are looking to compete next season and are reportedly considering Michael Porter Jr., who would give them a go-to scorer on the wing while keeping Marc Gasol and Mike Conley in charge of their respective positions.

Porter’s injury concerns have been well-documented after back problems limited him to three games at Missouri. He was still the consensus No. 1 prospect coming into the season before Bagley’s reclassification, so the talent is undeniably there.

With Doncic off the board, the window for Porter to sneak into the top four is wide open. It might come as a surprise to some, but this seems like a legitimate possibility. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Mohamed Bamba both refused workouts with Memphis and withheld their medicals.
