An early look at the top 30 prospects in the 2019 NBA Draft class.

We’re still 11 months away from the 2019 NBA Draft, but storylines are already heating up. The NCAA is beginning to undergo major changes, allowing some undrafted players to return to school. The top four prospects might end up playing in the same state.

Unlike the 2018 draft, depth is not abundant in next year’s class. Outside of the top-flight prospects, the talent disparity between the first and second round will be drastic. There is also a bigger emphasis on perimeter talent, as opposed to the frontcourt-heavy nature of 2018.

As for the Philadelphia 76ers, there is a very real chance that they have major stakes in the lottery. The Sacramento Kings will not be good, and the Sixers get their pick if it lands No. 1 overall. If it lands further back, however, the Celtics get it. That could be a major development next summer.

If the Celtics get that pick, the rich get richer. Boston is arguably the best team in the conference, possessing depth that few teams around the league can match. They might lose some of that depth to free agency (Terry Rozier, Marcus Morris, etc.), but that won’t matter if they add the No. 2 pick.

If the Sixers get that pick, well, the rich get richer. Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Markelle Fultz and R.J. Barrett? Sign. Me. Up.

As the college basketball (and NBA) season edges closer, here are the best prospects in the prospective draft class.
