Hagans currently projects as one of Kentucky’s starting guards, though he’ll have to compete with Immanuel Quickley and Quade Green for minutes. Just recently reclassifying to the 2018 class, Hagans immediately became one of the draft’s best lead guards.

At 6-foot-3, he makes up for average size with elite athleticism and defensive instincts. He’s an absolute pest on the perimeter, choking off passing lanes and translating his aggression into turnovers for the other team.

In their Bahamas tour, Kentucky showed impressive fire on the defensive end. Hagans will be a driving force on that side of the ball, setting the tone with his constant energy. BBN will be quite fond of him.

On the offensive end, Hagans is an athletic slasher with solid playmaking chops. His jumper is a question mark, but he’ll be able to attack the lane with crisp handles and ample explosiveness. Expect big things in a loaded Kentucky backcourt.
