Where does the Philadelphia 76ers star and reigning Rookie of the Year stand among all 30 starting point guards?

The Philadelphia 76ers will enter next season among the Eastern Conference favorites, challenging Boston and Toronto atop the standings. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will be at the center of their projected success, anchoring the Sixers on both ends.

While Markelle Fultz is making steady progress, Simmons will most likely be the starting point guard on opening night. At 6-foot-10, he’s a highly unique weapon, combining elite athletic tools with LeBron James-esque court vision.

There are definite weaknesses in Simmons’ game — HE’S A RIGHTY — but the 22-year-old still won Rookie of the Year with flying colors. He will only improve next season, potentially adding to his offensive profile (jump shot, anyone?).

With that in mind, let’s rank Simmons against every starting point guard in the NBA. At arguably the most talent-laden position in the league, Simmons has some stiff competition at the top. We’ll start from 30 and work our way down.
