21. Dennis Smith Jr., Dallas Mavericks

Smith put together solid numbers in his rookie campaign, although his impact on winning was questionable. He should take a step forward next season, becoming a more efficient scorer and progressing as an NBA-level playmaker.

With quick-twitch athleticism, Smith’s scoring upside is well-documented. If he can become a reliable three-point shooter and continue off the ball, his value skyrockets as Luka Doncic‘s perimeter compliment.

20. Dejounte Murray, San Antonio Spurs

Murray has established himself as one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, making second team All-Defense last season. That, combined with his slippery scoring ability, makes him a valuable part of the Spurs’ post-Duncan/Parker/Manu future. He still has room left to grow offensively, though.

19. Eric Bledsoe, Milwaukee Bucks

Bledsoe has the talent of a top-10 point guard, but he doesn’t always perform up to par. He’s an explosive slasher who can score in bunches, but he struggles with bouts of inefficiency and poor decision-making. His defense isn’t as great as advertised either.
