12. Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets
Murray seems primed for another step forward in year three, leading the charge for a talented Nuggets backcourt. With Gary Harris and Isaiah Thomas in the mix, Murray’s ability to work on and off the ball will be extremely valuable.
He thrives as a knockdown shooter in the Nuggets’ motion-heavy offense, while his playmaking has progressed significantly since entering the league. He’s still a below-average defender, but the offensive talent in enthralling.
11. Goran Dragic, Miami Heat
Dragic was Miami’s best player last season, earning All-Star honors as a result. He’s a crafty scorer, using a variety of touch shots to finish around longer, more athletic defenders at the rim. He’s also an underrated playmaker, boasting strong court vision and advanced passing chops.
10. Mike Conley Jr., Memphis Grizzlies
Conley missed all but 12 games with injury last season, leaving some lingering question marks heading into the 2018-19 campaign. His contract doesn’t look great, but he’s still an excellent two-way player at his best.
When healthy, Conley is one of the best defenders at his position. He’s also an efficient shooter and steady playmaker, giving the Grizzlies a shot at the postseason despite their interesting (?) roster construction.
