24. Dion Waiters, Miami Heat
If Waiters Island is open for business, he might rise a few spots. His success will be largely dependent on health and consistency, as Waiters’ breakout 2016-17 season was preceded by several years of uncertainty and a questionable reputation.
At his best, though, Waiters is a top-20 shooting guard who can score at all three levels and be the Heat’s No. 2 scorer. We’ll see if he reaches that level again next season.
23. Tim Hardaway Jr., New York Knicks
Hardaway gets some unfair criticism, but he remains an important part of the Knicks’ rotation. He’s a plus three-point shooter who has improved immensely as a shot-creator over the years, and his defense is solid. Efficiency was an issue last season, but he averaged a career-high 17.5 points per game.
22. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Sacramento Kings
Bogdanovic was snubbed from the All-Rookie teams, quietly putting together a strong first campaign on a bad Kings team. He has a very real chance to become their best player next season, if he wasn’t already. His combination of playmaking and shooting should make him a full-time starter.
