21. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Los Angeles Lakers
Caldwell-Pope had a strong first season with the Lakers, signing on for another one-year contract this summer. He now projects as a valuable source of shooting and perimeter defense next to LeBron, likely relegating Kyle Kuzma to the sixth man role.
20. Kent Bazemore, Atlanta Hawks
Bazemore is wasting away with a bad Hawks team now, but he remains an effective two-way wing who could bring real value to a competitive group. His contract is sizable, but his 39.4 percent three-point shooting, occasional shot-creation and defense make him a valuable player.
He’s somebody the Hawks, entering the midst of a long rebuild, will be dangling on the trade market this season. The Rockets and Bucks seem like intriguing (and highly possible) destinations.
19. Evan Fournier, Orlando Magic
Fournier has been the Magic’s most reliable perimeter scorer for a few seasons now. As their rebuild continues around Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac and Mohamed Bamba, Fournier will be charged with balancing out the rotation via floor-spacing and playmaking.
