12. Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics
Brown should take another step forward in his third NBA season. He’s already an important piece in Boston’s talent-laden rotation, providing defensive versatility and shooting on the wing. If he continues to improve as a shot-creator, the Celtics’ offense will become even more dynamic next season.
11. Gary Harris, Denver Nuggets
Harris is one of the most underrated talents in the league, and he could very well crack the top-10 as the season progresses. His shooting and off-ball movement fits seamlessly next to Nikola Jokic, while his improvement as a playmaker and go-to scorer has been vast.
He isn’t a terrible defender either, so expect him to establish himself as the Nuggets’ second-best player next season, especially if Paul Millsap is on the decline.
10. Jrue Holiday, New Orleans Pelicans
I wanted to put Holiday higher, and I almost did. He’s one of the best defenders on the planet, guarding up to three positions and wreaking havoc with his impressive blend of length and instincts.
While Anthony Davis gets most of the credit, Holiday was a driving force behind the Pelicans’ first-round sweep of the Blazers during the playoffs. He’s also a valuable offensive cog, with natural point guard skills and the ability to score at all three levels.
