30. Kevin Knox, New York Knicks
Kristaps Porzingis might miss the entire 2018-19 season, so we’ll roll with his replacement (and long-term complement) in Knox. The No. 9 pick had an up-and-down season at Kentucky, but was one of the best players in Vegas this summer. He’ll get a chance to play big minutes from day one.
29. Marvin Williams, Charlotte Hornets
Williams shot a career-high 41.3 percent from deep last season. He’s a mobile stretch-four who gives the Hornets some nice versatility in the starting five. He’s beginning to decline (and the Hornets aren’t good), but Williams is on track for another strong campaign.
28. Marvin Bagley III, Sacramento Kings
The reigning No. 2 pick will be thrown into the Kings’ starting five on day one, likely paired with Willie Cauley-Stein in the frontcourt. He had some glaring weaknesses in Summer League, but remains an elite athlete who will crash the glass and score in bunches.
Sacramento will run a lot of their offense through Bagley during a rebuilding year. Expect him to be in the Rookie of the Year conversation.
