Power Forward

Starter

Dario Saric is easily the most underrated player in the starting five. On most teams, Saric could be a legit second option on offense. However with so many other starters that can score or create for their teammates, Saric is either the Philadelphia 76ers third or fourth option on offense. While there’s the possibility of Saric losing his spot to Fultz, I’ve written that it should be Redick not Saric that should be taken out of the starting five.

Also. 3 reasons Saric makes sense off the bench. light

Primary reserve

In an ideal world where Smith isn’t injured, Chandler would be the second unit’s small-ball four. He can defend opposing power forwards while having an advantage over most offensively. While Chandler should still see minutes at the power forward spot it won’t be as often until Smith returns.

Jonah Bolden might see playing time early this season at the four spot with Smith being out. While the 76ers could suffer a little on offense with Bolden playing at the four, defensively the club would be formidable.

Rest of depth

Earlier in his career Mike Muscala had played at the power forward position for a good portion of time. If need be, he should be able to fill the void for the Sixers, however it shouldn’t be the first option for the club.
