Ben Simmons

Ben, like Joel, has also been his typical dominant self.

Ben’s jump shot has been as scrutinized as Markelle’s, with the only difference being that Ben has proven he can still be a successful player without a functioning jumper. Although he’s said it’s something he worked on over the summer, we’ve yet to see an actual shot attempt in game action thus far.

Therefore, Ben has done most of his damage down low. The Sixers have utilized a bunch of high-low sets between Ben and Joel in preseason action, with Ben receiving the ball deep in the paint posting up on much smaller guards, allowing him to absolutely overpower the defender for an easy bucket at the rim. Until Ben develops an actual jump shot, he will in all likelihood be doing most of his offensive damage in this fashion.

Next. 3 lineups the Sixers should tinker with. dark

Outside of that, Ben is still Ben. His ball movement is still superb, he’s still a disturbance on the defensive end, and is still making triple-doubles look even more casual by the minute.
