The Philadelphia 76ers had a bounce back victory against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.

After a rough loss against the Toronto Raptors a few nights ago, questions arose about the Philadelphia 76ers and its roster. It caused some panic, in the realm of the Sixers.

Thursday night’s win against the L.A. Clippers helped everyone forget that loss, as the Sixers prevailed through a game of highs and lows.

It began with the Sixers being dominant on both sides of the ball for the first half. The team had massive success against the Clippers, even reaching a 22-point lead at one point.

That all changed going into the second half, when the Clippers decided to unleash the 7-foot-3 secret weapon known as Boban Marjanovic off the bench. Marjanovic gave the Clippers a spark in the second half, and the team went on a massive run. At one point in the third, the Clippers even led by four.

The Sixers looked like they were throwing the game away, until Markelle Fultz returned in the second half for the Sixers. After checking in, Fultz provided scoring and slashing to the rim, giving some much needed ball movement to the team.

By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, the teams were going back and forth for the begining few minutes. It wasn’t until Joel Embiid scored the ball on multiple possessions that the Sixers finally pulled away, and came out with a victory.

So who was important in tonight’s victory? Let’s check out some grades below:

B. 21 mins | 12 pts | 9 reb | 5 ast | 1 stl | 0 blk | 1 TO | 5-10 FG | 0-0 3PT| 2-4 FT | 1 PF | +16 |
The numbers in the box score don’t do Markelle Fultz justice for his performance tonight. Fultz provided a much needed playmaking spark whenever Ben Simmons was moved to the bench for rest. It was very promising to see Fultz thrive as a playmaker for the team.

While you would’ve liked to see Fultz attempt more shots (especially threes), it was a very efficient outing for him. Markelle Fultz looked good on defense tonight, which is an area that he has been criticized in for his young career. Overall, this is a performance that Fultz should look to build on.
. SG/PG. Philadelphia 76ers. MARKELLE FULTZ

B+. 34 mins | 14 pts | 3 reb | 11 ast | 1 stl | 0 blk | 2 TO | 6-11 FG | 0-0 3PT| 2-2 FT | 3 PF | -2 |
A lot of people panicked last game when <a href=. PG/PF. Philadelphia 76ers. BEN SIMMONS

Overall, there is a lot to be happy about with this win. The team is beginning to solve many of its early season issues. It is nice to see the team getting back to a more consistent system on both ends of the ball.

The Sixers will play again this weekend and look to build on this win, playing in a back-to-back against the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets.
