3-6. Previous: . Atlanta Hawks. 29. team. 125. Trae Young is on pace to finish top-three in the Rookie of the Year discussion, albeit Luka Doncic — who the Hawks traded away for Young — is the clear favorite. John Collins’ eventual return will also strengthen Atlanta’s frontcourt. <p>Nonetheless, the outlook for this season in bleak. Lloyd Pierce has installed an impressive system on both ends, but the talent isn’t high enough to execute at this point. The Hawks are tanking, as expected.</p> <p>An up-tempo style, Young’s limitless range, and some other intriguing prospects make the Hawks worth watching. Just don’t expect a ton of competitive games.</p>
