A supremely athletic big man, Daniel Gafford made the interesting decision to return to Arkansas despite considerable draft hype. If he can build on a strong freshman season, it might work out for him. The 2018 class was overwhelmingly big man-centric.

Gafford uses his length, mobility and bounce to deter shots at the rim. Becoming a reliable perimeter defender would work wonders for Gafford’s stock, but he has the makings of a high-level rim protector.

At 6-foot-11, Gafford is also an elite roll man, playing above the rim and finishing off lobs with ease. His range doesn’t stretch too far outside the paint, but he fits a niche offensively and presents ample upside on defense.
