Herb Jones was limited in his role last season, averaging just 4.2 points and 1.4 assists in 21.2 minutes per contest. In his second season, however, the sophomore wing projects to see an uptick in opportunities.

Without Collin Sexton controlling the offense, Alabama will look elsewhere for production. Jones fits the profile of a modern 3-and-D wing, standing 6-foot-8 with long arms and ample athleticism. His defense is what will draw scouts in.

Proving that he can consistently hit three-pointers will be important for Jones, as he struggled on limited volume last season. He’s still buried in the Alabama rotation to some extent, so taking advantage of those aforementioned opportunities is imperative.
