Despite recent struggles, Doumbouya remains one of the highest-upside prospects in the 2019 class. He’s also the only elite international prospect, headlining one of the weakest European crops in years. He joins Luka Samanic as the only international prospect in the top 30.

At 6-foot-8 with a 6-foot-11 wingspan, Doumbouya is an elite athlete with a tantalizing defensive ceiling. He’s strong enough to battle underneath and has the lateral quickness to defend on the perimeter, putting him in a similar vein to the aforementioned De’Andre Hunter.

While his offense remains a tad unpolished, Doumbouya has already shown the potential for dynamic shot-making at his size. His three-point shot needs some work, but he can hit from range and shows impressive flashes in transition, where his athleticism pops.
