After starting his freshman season with a bang, Nickeil Alexander-Walker cooled off for significant portions of the Hokies’ late schedule. Still, despite his inconsistent production, the lanky comboguard projects as a potential first round talent.

Standing 6-foot-5 with a 6-foot-9 wingspan, Alexander-Walker has ideal physical tools for a multi-positional perimeter defender. He was also an efficient shooter, hitting 39.2 percent of his three-point attempts.

Assuming his consistency improves in year two, Alexander-Walker should draw in scouts with his scoring, physical tools and upside as a secondary playmaker. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.4 minutes per game last season.
